I will be in Asotin at the High School on Friday 1-26-07 to talk to students about playing Soccer for the Clarkston Soccer Club. I will be in the Lunch room at 11:15 for the Jr. High, and 12:15 for the High School.

We have a real web Address now!
That should be a little easier to remember, and find!

Why is it a good idea to look at the Clarkston Soccer Club Web Site everyday?
Jordan Semanko was just the Lucky winner of an X-Box 360 and 2 games from www.seethruthesmoke.com that has been posted there since June.
Jordan won the X-Box by naming the little puff of smoke that I handed out to you all at the End of Season Party in November. His name is "Weezie".
Congratulations Jordan, have fun with your prize!

Great Season Guys!!!!!
We finished with a record of 4-2-1 and in 4th place out of 12 teams...........not bad for moving up to the more competitive bracket and having more teams in the league. Nice game today.........We had to switch it up early so not to run the score up too much. I feel we scored too many, especially after I told us not to. I hate to look like we were running up the score, because I feel that is unsportsmanlike, and I frown on that! People did score today that haven't scored this season, so that is a plus. Good Luck to those of you playing High School Soccer in the Spring.
See you at the End of Season Party next Saturday!

Another win, another hard fought game. Nice job guys!
Another example of a Spokane Team and their aggressive play, along with a Coach that probably shouldn't be involved in Youth Sports. Some of us let our emotions run a little high, we need to work on keeping your mouths shut and just play. Most of you did very well, a few of you lacked the discipline it takes to be successful at soccer! As you get older you will find it harder to deal with game time problems unless you get it together now.
Let's focus on our last game, and go out winners!
10-14-06
Hey guys..........I have never been more proud of this team as I am today! You guys showed me, and the other team, what a real soccer team is supposed to be made of, and how to act on the field!
Thank you all, your the best!
I don't have to go into mentioning names like I did last week, because all of you were simply amazing today! We are coming together as a team, and we will only get better! We played most of the game today 9 vs 11, and we kicked butt for all but the last 2 minutes!
Thank you all for your effort! Your the best!
10-7-06
Wow Guys, what a game today! I have many new gray hairs to prove it! We are playing in a much more competitive league this year, and you guys are doing great! We still need to keep improving every game, so make sure your doing what your supposed to do at home to get your own game better! Practice juggling on your own!
Andrew played by far his best game of this season, Nice job Andrew! Nice hustle, I love it! I'd love to see you play this way every game!
Austin.....You never give up and you hate to lose...So do I, nice last minute goal!
Jake, Nice solid game, you kept the "D" on the left off balance all day!
Jordan, Great hustle, and one of the nicest shots I've ever seen....It was a rocket...the goalie had no chance!
Justin, Like I always say ..."Shoot it"! Nice job.
John, You made some great plays today!
Stephen, Some of your fancy stuff actually worked today, nice job, nice hustle!
Jacob, You also made some great plays on both Offense and Defense!
Junior, Nice leg today, you had some booming kicks!
Jeff, Great job as always in Goal......You did a great job!
Curtis, Fantastic work back there, you hustled all game....Thanks!
Marvin, Solid game today, keep it up!
Let's get ready for the Express on Saturday,.....Let's keep up our winning streak!

Thank You to all the Players that were dedicated enough to the Team, and the Coach to show up and play a very hard game against a very good team today! I appreciate the effort given today, despite the outcome. As a team we played pretty badly, but as individual players we looked ok, even very good at times......That's not a good groove to fall into guys! We all played hard, we all hated to lose, but we did not play together until it was too late. Together we have a chance to win, individually we will get killed. The proof was in the pudding today. Losing sometimes is the best learning tool a team can use. Let's use this game as a learning tool, and continue to get better as a team. No individual on this team can win a game for us all by himself....it just will never happen! We must work together towards the common goal......Team Perfection. Of course nobody is perfect, and perfection will never be reached, but we need to set our goals high!
Watch the Message Board for the next practice.

Excellent game!
(Did you know the Breakers finished 3rd in the District 6 tournament this season?)
I'm proud of the entire team for not losing their cool, and playing a very tough game. The Breakers are the very worst team I have ever seen as far as sportsmanship and rules of the game are concerned! They are Coached to play the way they do, and they should be reprimanded for it in my opinion. I'm glad we as a team kept out mouths shut and just played the game. We dominated the game is more like it! After the first 10 minutes was over it was easy to see that we were the better team. The first 10 minutes was shaky, but we got down to business and did a good job. There was alot of pulling, pushing, tripping, tackling, going on from them. Maybe it's something I'll address to the league. Thanks to all of you for playing a tough game!
See you Monday @ 5:30 L.M.S. for practice.

I'm thinking of getting Sweatshirts to sell for a fundraiser, would anybody buy them? Here is what I came up with...........Let me know what you think of them when you see me at the game or practice, or go leave a Message on the Message Board.

What did I tell you? Every one of you is Guilty of being over-confident vs Lewiston. Sure we finally put it together somewhat, and won 12-2, but 2 goals against us is 2 too many! Let me give you this advise...."Never take any opponent lightly, no matter what has happened in the past". This is not the first time this has happened, and not the first time it has happened against Lewiston. Remember 2 years ago when we whooped them 10-1, then turned around a few weeks later and could only manage to tie them 5-5? I remember it well, and it should never happen again! Well, let's put this debacle behind us and focus on our game this Saturday. See you there at 10 am. Don't be late!

Looks like Jace will miss the rest of the season for us. He hurt his knee real bad about 5 minutes into the 1st game. At first it looked like an ACL tear, but now it might be a fracture instead. Let's all hope it's the latter because Jace will be on his feet alot sooner if it is a fracture, and we'd all hate to see him have to have surgery at such a young age. Jace will be at our games to root us on, and to give me another set of eyes during the game.
Get Well Soon Jace!
9/9/06 Game #1 vs Sabers
Good game guys, I'm proud of you all! We played hard as a team the entire game........A coach loves to see this character in his team! We played pretty well, just had a few really bad breaks, and some horrible Referee calls. We had 4 goals scored on us that should not have went in, but those are the breaks. We create our own breaks, just remember that. We need to do a better job of controlling the ball on our Offensive end of the field. We also need to push the ball to the "Outside" and keep in out of the middle on the Defensive end of the field. We had a few players hurt, let's hope they heal up quickly!
We can make things happen, and we will! Jordan was our leading scorer with 2 goals, followed by Jake with 1. Let's get ready for Lewiston on 9/16/06.
Scrimmage 9-6-06
Great job Players!
Lewiston is a very young, and new team, so don't get cocky! We did alot of nice things out there, beside scoring 17 times, we also passed the ball very well, and held our ground on the Defensive side of things! Our goalies got the ball in their hands 2 times each. Nothing was even close to going in! Just remember..........This Saturday will not be the same! The Sabers are a very good team........We will have to play our best to beat them!
Go Heat!
Scrimmage Game
We will be scrimmaging the Lewiston Boys U-15 team on Wednesday September 6th at 5:30. The game will be played at Lincoln Middle School, Clarkston. Players should be there at 5:00 to get ready to play!
New Game on Schedule
We have a new game added to the Schedule. We will play Lewiston on Sept. 16th at Lewiston. The game will be in the morning............I'll let you know the time.
New Player
We have a new player, please welcome Jace to our team with open arms. Jace is a very good player coming over from Lewiston. I had the pleasure to coach him for a season a few years ago. He will help our team get even stronger!
Welcome Jace!!!!!
Next Practice
Tuesday, Sept. 5th @Lincoln Middle School, 5:30pm
Practices
We all need to start attending all the practices. 7 players at practice out of 16 will just not cut it. We can't work together on anything as a team, and we have a game in 3 weeks! I understand company, vacation, and that kind of thing, and will excuse players for it. I will not tolerate any player just not showing up! We all know when and where practice is, so show up! If not I expect a call Before practice not after! Missing 3 practices unexcused is going to cost from now on. You will sit out at least part of a game, maybe the whole thing, it depends on how I feel that day!
Car Wash
We had a very successful car wash, $226 was raised for uniforms. They are ordered and on the way.
Go Heat!
Car Wash Fundraiser
We are having a Car wash Saturday August 12, 2006 from 11am to? to raise money for new uniforms. The Car Wash will be held at Lancer Lanes.
Hope to see you there.
Also:
A Big "Thank You" to the Benner's for your Donation to the club! It will help more than you know.
